These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of CoffeeDrop, including the CoffeeDrop website, creator profiles, coffee posts, and related services. By using CoffeeDrop, you agree to these terms.

Using CoffeeDrop

You may browse public coffee creations without an account. An anonymous visitor may publish one free coffee post, subject to CoffeeDrop's anti-abuse and rate-limit controls. A paid Creator Membership provides a public creator profile and unlimited coffee posting while membership access is active.

You must use CoffeeDrop lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the service or other users. You may not attempt to bypass posting limits, access another user's account or content-management controls, probe or exploit security vulnerabilities, scrape the service at abusive rates, or otherwise misuse CoffeeDrop.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Usernames must comply with CoffeeDrop's naming rules. We may require a username to be changed if it is misleading, abusive, impersonating another person or organization, or otherwise inappropriate for the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, recipes, text, and other content you submit. You must have the right to upload and publish that content. You may not submit illegal content, explicit content, harassment, spam, stolen images, intentionally misleading material, or content unrelated to CoffeeDrop's coffee-sharing purpose.

By publishing content, you grant CoffeeDrop a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and promote the CoffeeDrop service. This license ends when the content is deleted from CoffeeDrop, except for reasonable technical backup or caching periods.

Creator Membership and billing

Creator Membership costs $5.99 USD per month and renews automatically until canceled. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your selected payment method.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal available from your CoffeeDrop account. Cancellation prevents future renewals. When applicable, Creator benefits remain available through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

Likes, reports, and community activity

CoffeeDrop may provide features such as likes, sharing, and content reporting. You may not manipulate these systems, submit fraudulent reports, automate engagement, or use them to harass other users.

Moderation and enforcement

CoffeeDrop may hide, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the intended purpose of the service. Accounts may be restricted or suspended for repeated or serious violations. We may also remove content when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with legal obligations, or maintain the security and reliability of the service.

Third-party services and brands

CoffeeDrop uses third-party services including Stripe and Supabase to provide parts of the service. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply when you interact with those services.

CoffeeDrop is an independent community and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Starbucks or Dunkin'. Brand names are used only to identify the store associated with a community-created drink.

Service availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features of CoffeeDrop at any time. We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

CoffeeDrop is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoffeeDrop disclaims implied warranties relating to the service. CoffeeDrop is not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted drink recipes, ingredient information, pricing, availability, nutritional information, or allergen information. Users should confirm ingredients and dietary concerns directly with the applicable coffee shop.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoffeeDrop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using CoffeeDrop at any time. Members may delete their account through Settings. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for violations of these Terms, abuse, fraud, security threats, or legal requirements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as CoffeeDrop changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the Terms are revised. Continued use of CoffeeDrop after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
